Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal when purchasing from ES Audio Store at a distance. For goods, the withdrawal period normally starts on the day after you, or a person appointed by you, received the goods.
 

How to withdraw

You can exercise your right of withdrawal by using our electronic withdrawal function on www.esaudiostore.com, by sending us a clear statement by email, or by using the standard EU/Swedish withdrawal form. It is sufficient that you send your withdrawal notice before the withdrawal period has expired.
 

Electronic withdrawal function

Use the button “Return an order / Exercise right of withdrawal” in the website footer or in your order information. You will be asked to provide or confirm your name, order number or other information identifying the contract, the product or part of the order you wish to withdraw from, and the email address where you want to receive the acknowledgement of receipt. Submit the notice by clicking “Confirm withdrawal”.
 

Acknowledgement of receipt

After you submit the withdrawal notice through the electronic function, ES Audio Store will send an automatic acknowledgement of receipt without undue delay. The acknowledgement confirms receipt and the time of receipt only. ES Audio Store will then review the withdrawal period, the product and the return conditions.
 

Vintage equipment

Many ES Audio Store products are used, restored or serviced vintage hi-fi items. You may handle the product only to the extent necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Handling beyond what is necessary, damage, disassembly, modification, third-party repair, incorrect connection or missing accessories may result in a deduction for diminished value as permitted by law.

Refunds

If the right of withdrawal is validly exercised, ES Audio Store will refund the amount paid by you, including the standard delivery cost from us to you. Additional costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery method than our standard delivery method are not refundable. We may withhold the refund until we have received the product back or until you have supplied evidence that the product has been returned, whichever occurs first. Refunds are normally made using the same payment method that you used for the purchase unless otherwise agreed.
 

Exceptions

The right of withdrawal does not apply in all situations. Examples may include custom-made or customer-specific products, sealed audio/video products or software where the seal has been broken, and services that have been fully performed after you expressly requested that performance begin during the withdrawal period and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal may be lost. Any exception must be assessed case by case under applicable consumer law.
 

Complaints and warranty

The right of withdrawal is not the same as a complaint or warranty claim. If a product is defective or does not conform to the contract, you may have rights under applicable consumer sales law and under any warranty offered by ES Audio Store. Contact us if you believe a product is faulty.
